Nah. Make a couple bets a year when I'm in Vegas for work.
Actually made a random $50 bet with a coworker and took Georgia +4 so that's lunch money for a few days.
I used to bet heavy on mlb. Several hundred dollars per game and anywhere from one to six games a day. I won increasing amounts for three seasons straight and thought I had it all figured out. Then got utterly destroyed the following year using the exact same approach. That's pretty much when I realized there is no such thing as long term winning.
The problem for me isn't financial but the need to check scores all the time. It has created problems for me whether its fantasy, straight bets or pools, I have the need to check scores at times that I should be focusing on family issues. Unfortunately, Christmas Eve was on a Sunday and ff finals. Wife's family was up and they are readers, not sports people. I bet I went to the bathroom 20 times between 4-7pm....so yeah, in a way I have a problem
