I figure the RX is the best forum on the Net in terms of quality cappers, quality people, people that seem to have strong connections to Sportsbooks and the gambling world, so I am starting here with my "question"...

I have all of the NBA linescores going back to and including the 2001-2002 season...

I am looking for a source, whether it is online or even a book, that has NBA linescores/boxscores going back to the 1987 season, or simply going back as far as possible...

I've tried searches on engines like Google and have found some interesting stuff, but not what I am looking for...Yet...

Surely, there must be a book published or some online source that must have this?...I found an NFL online source that has linescores/boxscores going all the way back to the 1920's, but cannot seem to find the same luck in the NBA...

Does anyone know where I can find this information??...

I don't care if it is a paperback book, hard-cover book, an Adobe acrobat file or a website, I just need this info...

If anyone can help or point me in the right direction, I'd be appreciative...

Thank you...

Just to clear up any confusion, I ALREADY HAVE all of the NBA final scores and Vegas lines going back to 1987...

I am looking for the linescores for all games (you know, score-by-quarter)...

Thanx...

Hmmm. Twice I thought I posted on this thread. Anyways...

I hired a data scraper to get similar data for me (Game stats, player stats, and lines for each game for the last 10 years).

What type of application are you going to use this data for?

daringly:

It is for MS-Excel...I never heard of a "data-scraper" or "spyder-man"...How much did you pay out to get that info??...

A data scraper is someone who writes a program to read an internet site, and "scrape" all the data off it in a format of my choosing. Once he has the data, it is fairly easy to put it into Excel, although I use ascii text files (it makes writing applications easier).

I budget $1500 per sport type (i.e. NBA and NCAAB are two different types), but it might come in a bit under that.

I'd be VERY curious to see what a data-scraper could come up with on a site like donbest or jimfeist...Especially donbest, TONS of info there...

What site(s) did your scraper "scrape" from??...If you don't want to post that info here, leave your email here, if you don't mind, the mods should be ok with this, you're not selling picks here...Or I'll leave mine: brewers7@ptd.net...Thanx...
