Totals set this high have gone way under over the years... When the perception is gonna be an absolute shootout the focus throughout the whole week for teams is defense. However both games between these 2 were set in the 50s last year... Both went over

While I think the falcons are overrated and especially on the road have struggled 11.5 is a lot for a playoff team on mnf... Saints are perfect ats how long will linemakers let that go on for?

it's either Falcons and under or saints and over IMO.
IF Saints cover the game goes over in a 38-24 type of game. IF Falcons cover it will be more if a 28-24 type of game.
SHould be an exciting game, much more entertaining than last week's snooze fest between the Deadskins and Eagles.

I gotta admit, I'm pretty impressed by the Saints. Especially on that fast track. However... 11.5 points is a LOT to give up to a competent division rival. I know, I know, the Falcons haven't looked at all like they did a few weeks ago, particularly on offense. And, the Saints have torn up some pretty decent defenses lately. That said, the most impressive to me was the Giants game a couple weeks back... that is, til I've seen multiple teams beat them down in the secondary. I like the Falcons to keep it tight.

Atlanta Falcons to beat the 12 point spread against New Orleans Saints

After being tested by the Miami Dolphins last week I feel the Saints are going to have another tough game against the Falcons. The Saints defense was exposed last week by Miami's running game and I see the Falcon's Mike Turner to have a break through game. After last years pro bowl season Mike Turner has had a down year, but I see him coming through here with over 100 yards.

The Falcons have more to play for in this game than the Saints because they are trailing them by 2 games in the division standings. This game is Atlanta's "Super Bowl" if you will, because if they don't win this game it will be very hard for them to win the division.

Look for Atlanta's QB Matt Ryan to have comparable stats to the Saints QB Drew Brees as this game is closer than the experts think.

i'm leaning Atl right now as they seem to be too good to get this many points

the only thing that concerns me is that the Saints are actually starting to look like the 2007 Pats, who blew everybody out for 10 or so weeks.

Atlanta's D was exposed by Dallas last week and NO has a better offense then them. I can't imagine Atl keeping it close in this one. I think NO could be the NE of 2007 where they just kept putting up 35+ and covering.

Saints falling behind 24-3 last week and coming back to win convincingly was a wake up call.

Easy cover for the Saints!
