andy reid is gunna love this matchup.

he get a legit excuse to throw all over the place. and alll u have to do is stop adrian peterson...dats it.!!!

mcnabb will be running left and right of the pocket and hitting buckhalter and westbrook something awful. I see repeated 10 yrd screens as well

this will open up the middle of the field to boot.

nobody belives in minny,..fans and bettors alike...bad coach,..bad qb,....

IMO minny is already going into this game w/ da wrong attitude..and even if they have some hope it won't take long to erode it

I don't agree with your analysis. I am sure thier fans believe in Minny and btw you will quickly learn the more that don't like Minny in Vegas, the better.

You sound like a 9th grader giving his opinion the way you say he is going to throw all day and all they have to do is stop AP. Well it is a bit tough to stop AP with that left side of the offensive line. Plus he has another week to heal that ankle. You also can't just stack the box as Berrian has the speed to beat the Cover 2 or if you have 1 on 1 man coverage.

McNabb doesnt have the wheels he used to if you haven't noticed. He is getting up thier in age and rarely pulls it down to run. Not to mention Jared Allen will be containing one side of the field and he has the speed to outrun McNabb. I doubt they will throw screens for 10 yards every play. NFL teams adjust and I am sure Westbrook is priority #1 and he will be tightly covered at all times. Why would halfback screens open up the middle? They would simply just have the outside guys over play the flats and still have safety help and LB's in the middle.

You say bad coach for Minny as if Andy Reid isn't one of the worst playcallers and clock managers in the NFL. He has way to many predictable tendencies. If he runs on 1st you bet your ass he throws on 2nd. He also throws every 3rd down and has no clue how to pick up short yardage which won't help against this beefed up defensive front.

I may bet Philly, I may bet Minny. I haven't capped the game yet but if this of your line of thinking you will lose in the long run.

Hey GD ~ top notch analysis and comments.

Hey Snake ~ I am not sure what your intended goal was with this thread, but one can only assume you are looking to argue with anyone holding an opinion the opposite of yours. Why else create this thread and react in that manner?

GD is a top notch capper who is rapidly getting mad respect around these parts. He gave you some serious analysis off the top of his head ~ and he did so in a very objective manner. He has not even bet a particular side yet, so it's not like he is saying that you are on the wrong side.

He is, however, telling you that the reasons you posted in support of your play seemed thin. He then gave you really good counterpoints to consider with some depth and knowledge to back those points up. The least you could have done was to try and respond to his specific statements ~ rather than reacting defensively and without really responding to any of his comments.

The only play I like this weekend is the Ravens but if I had to pick this game, I'd say the Eagles win by 2 points and the Vikings cover the spread.

Just check out the scores of Vikings games (12-10, 20-19, 18-15), they typically play in tight games and I expect their defense is good enough to keep this game close especially at home. The only wildcard is Tavaris, albeit a big risk. However, if he can make at least one big play to Berrian, the Vikings will have a chance.

As has been said by GimmeDattt....Andy Reid is not a good play caller whatsoever. I live in Florida and work with an office full of Philly fans and they can't stand Reid and his predictable play calling. I can't believe the difficulty Philly has scoring from inside the 2 with a RB like Westbrook.

The Vikes are by no means a scary team but they do play solid D, have the league's best back, a solid K and HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE.

Small edge to the Iggles primarily based on edge at QB.

if westbrook breaks opena couple big plays , then reid wont be able to lose the game with his awful play calling.

if the eagles lose this game i would have to think he will join big mike s on the sidelines. maybe heading to cleveland

if it takes a last second feild goal to beat the giants back ups, in a game that decided your playoff fate.

you better hope minny gets focused against the birds, cause eagles defense will be all up in the backfield all day long. i expect AP to have less than 100 yards, and tavaris to have atleast 2 pikcs.

excelent match up for the birds here.

oh and as for minny fans they didnt even sell out the game by tuesday, here in philly that game would have been sold out by teh 3rd quarter of the dallas game.
fake as fargo fans dontcha know

It seems people seem to foget that the Eagles are capable of no showing. 3 points @ Redskins 2 weeks ago, a 13-13 tie @ Cincinatti. No one remembers these things.

I have to admit I am starting to lean the way of the Eagles also but this is by no means a no brainer.

I remember, mostly because I was on them for both games. Each time was a complete no show and a horrible, pathetic performance. I don't see how anyone can be sure about anything the Eagles do given their Jekyl and Hyde style. One week you blow out the Cowboys 44-6 and the previous week a dreadful 10-3 loss to a very average Skins team.
