The botched extra point late, that blows the cover, or the chip shot 25 yard doink off the post...

the oh by the way ,meaningless 3 pointer to cut the final score down to 9 is another malox masher

I know what you mean, only thing i can compare it to was Indiana -2 1/2 at Maui vs Gonzaga a few years back, up 17 with 5 mins to go, win by 1 after a 3 is missed at the buzzer and put back in. Made me about kill someone.

G. Money, I laid 1.5 on the Jags also, and was saying well at least we have OT to win by 3 but noooooooo. The missed extra point on top of the laterals TD probably cost quite a few broken picture tubes around the world.

Catching 12 or something many years ago against Az. St and having a defensive score in overtime after they had scored a td already was the toughest ever for me. Absolutely brutal.

That was USC that did that!

I think it may be the only time its happened...Everyone thought the most you could lose by was 7 or 8 in College OT, but this game proved different.

You said Wil...I remember once about 12 years back...getting a what I thought was a miracle cover, only to have the guy run back the onside kick...

Yeah I was on the wrong end of that USC game too...

I'll never foget hearing Keith Jackson trying to explain it, as I listened thru a scrambled screen on TV..

You can lose by 13 points in college football OT. Not sure how many times it has happened though. Maybe just the once (USC-Az St.). I lost a college basketball game getting 12.5 in OT once. I believe it was Iowa St Vs. Ok. St. I had the Cyclones plus 12.5 and they proceeded to get shut out 13-0 in overtime by Ok. St.
