Clinton has lapped Dubya. Disturbing as that may sound, what it actually means is that, at this point in his presidency, Clinton was twice as popular as Bush. You read that right. Bush just hit 36% approval whereas Clinton's was 72%, notes Cenk Uygur.

Noting that these are "pre-coup numbers" and that they're slightly lower than Nixon during his impeachment hearings, Uygur comments:

"To say 'people like Bush' under these circumstances is to be so inaccurate that I have to question either your intelligence or your motives. How much cognitive reasoning ability do you need to figure out that 36% approval rating means people DON’T like George Bush? Do you owe the guy money or something?"

Once again, its an oversampling of Democrats. But why let that stop the Left from enjoying another non-win?

Guess this really hurts W's chances for re-election in 08, eh Doc?

:>Grin>

Just for fun, Rasmussen was the ones who were dead on for the Presidential election...and they have his approval at 46%.

You are in the Minority now cause most folks are waking up to the fact that Bush is going down in history as a complete flop and a man who lies about everything

"Uncle Dick ... if I nuke Iran will that help my ratings??""

Their agendas are so in motion that I doubt they now give half a rats' ass about the approval rating.

I am sometimes shocked at the numbers of Americans that still see little or nothing wrong with the Patriot Act.

remember ...

the Media is controlled by the Right ...hell, most of the Bushies thought Kerry was weak on defv and not aware Cheney wanted to cut the same weapons as Sect of Defense ... most thought Kerry was the most Liberal Senator and that was based on 2003 when he was out campaiging and he is actually the 11th most Liberal senator since he joined in 1985

The Bushies source for daily input comes from Hannity and Limbaugh and throw in Coulter and easy to see why most Bushies have trouble telling ya what country Baghdad is located in let alone being able to talk about realities instead of the fictional world they believe in
