Live in NC. we have a couple of Native American casinos but I am only interested in on-line books. I deal with BookMaker now but would prefer dealing with books in the US (NC). We are suppose to have agreed on allowing on-line books but can't find out when they will become available.

Any info would be appreciated

North Carolina: Legal.

Gambling in North Carolina is run exclusively through the Cherokee tribe, and the state passed a bill in July 2019 that will permit sports gambling (including horse racing) to be part of that monopoly. Sports betting launched on March 18, 2021, but efforts to legalize online betting have not yet been successful.

States that have not passed or have no interest in legalizing sports betting are total idiots to forfeit all of the money they are losing to offshore books.

And then to legalize it, but not allow wagers to be made online, is just as foolish.

I mean WTH, have these lawmakers been living under a rock?;?

I agree. Also I think if someone bets in person with cash they may not dump as much money. I think its different when your holding the green rather than clicking a mouse.
No doubt...my attention to details are way better betting cash ...IDK why but i get lackadaisical online..maybe it's just too easy to pop off bets randomly...I stick to my 4 games a weekend program ardently .

Eyeing the XFL sorta...air betting to see how it works out...3-1 this weekend...

Great playoff run btw! You kicked some NFL ass.

Living in Nevada, it’s all pretty much frigin William Hill. Here in Reno we have a few independent books but not much else. Beside my Whill acct, I also use my offshore BetUS and Bookmaker. Sucks that we can’t use DraftKings or Fanduel for my Player Props.

Peppermill and Atlantis are decent options. I also have accounts in Vegas, that's the cool thing about Reno, you can bet all the Vegas books from home. I use mostly westgate, which is a must have for NHL, since they have dime lines on NHL.

I think you have to be in the State where its legal but I just read and wonder if this is the case then for anyone wanting to gamble just cut across the state line and make deposit? talk to an attorney?? Does say offshore???

There is no rule or law that prohibits online gambling, including sports betting at offshore online sportsbooks. So yes, you can bet on sports in Kentucky - online at a safe and secure online sportsbook

Then I read...... really not clear

Is online gambling legal in Kentucky?

The only legal online gambling opportunities in Kentucky are pari-mutuel advance deposit wagering platforms such as TVG and Twin Spires, and the Kentucky Lottery

Can I use BetMGM in Kentucky?

BetMGM customers have access to mobile sports betting with the BetMGM Sportsbook app. And you can use the app in any state in which BetMGM is active

BetMGM is legal to use in many states throughout the US. However, there are several states that ban online sports betting. But you can get around this with the use of a VPN. Simply download a reliable VPN, such as NordVPN, and connect to a server in a state that allows sports betting

ALL Double talk to me

Too complicated for me.... State should put on ballot and let people decide.......

I live in Texas and play with a local guy. All wagers are placed online. The sports book is based offshore, but we settle up face to face.
