Yes. They are going to close Fairlay and go with Bitcoin-Betting. The are invite only but they'll let in sports forums. I'm not looking to give invites, not my intent.
Ok am I understanding the commission properly

I win a wager of $100 at even money makes a $100 profit, Fairplay takes .4 percent of that =.40 cents

This sounds pretty good....Ill keep an eye out for the new site when it starts taking non invites.
On their home page there's a spot to fill in on how you heard about them. They'll take you if you put RX. They are taking other forums. You understand crypto but if you do need any help funding just yell. You have to use Metamask.

Dont really understand crytpo that much, novice at best , but trying to learn...I bought about 10k worth to get my feet wet.

Was going to put a portion of that with BetOnline but it looks like this Fairplay/Bitcoin betting provide much better value

So I cant transfer from my Coinbase to the sportsbook?
Im reading that MetaMask stuff now.

Is it better to use Eth or Bitcoin?

I would transfer ETH to Metamask, then send ETH to Bitcoin-Betting. When you get to the Bitcoin-Betting site, there will be a pop-up that says connect wallet. You'll then be connected to Metamask and can transfer. Keep a little extra ETH at Metamask for gas fee.

If you want to send BTC, then transfer ETH to Metamask. Then swap ETH for wrapped BTC in your Metamask wallet. Then send wrapped BTC to Bitcoin-Betting.

All this stuff seems complicated but it's just like BTC. At one time BTC was complicated. Do it once and it's easy.

There are video tutorials on the Bitcoin-Betting site. Bitcoin-Betting is a DeFi sportsbooks. Everything is on the ETH chain so that everything is transparent. When you place a bet it's locked in a smart contract and is settled at the conclusion of the game.

The reason for wrapped BTC, if you want BTC, is that wrapped BTC is on the Ethereum chain rather than BTC blockchain. Everything is on the Ethereum chain.
