Most all Red Sox fans(including myself), predicted a loss tonight had almost a favorable chance of happening.

A solid value bet considering Pedro was a -220 favorite.

I had most of the patrons at Selmons tonight on the Blue Jays side.

I will be given many handshakes tommorrow.

sportssavant, you are ALWAYS sharp my friend. Wonder how much you hedged out, and why you guys waste time on these preseason football games?

Wasn't referring to the betting on the game, moreso a friendly shot at Fish and his chest-thumping threads all weekends. Was largely tongue-in-cheek and I think most people realized that.

I only have a trading account at tradebetx & there was no contracts to be had on that game at all.... so I got lucky... held it all....

I probably would have hedged about 1 unit if I could have gotten + 300 or more but luckily nobody was trading the game

in terms of wasting time on pre-season... tonite was only the second time I bet on pre-saeason (lost the first) but I coudnt resist the + points & the under 43 when I heard that rain was forecast for the area....

Johnny, I just looked over the remaining schedules and it looks like the MFY's have the advantage. The SOX will never make up 6.5.

However, if they do make the playoffs they will be playing the national league rep in Oct.[Big IF!!]

Yes Manny and Ortiz are great players but this year Sheffield has more huge hits than I can count. Plus the Red Sox dont even play .500 baseball on the road.

Johnny, you must only watch the MFY. ortiz has as many clutch hits as anyone this season. Plus he is proforming on a team w/over 1000 innings of starters on the DL in 2004. MFY just aren't hitting/SOX

fishhead. i was suprised you had over for boston (baseballcontest) against lilly..
this guy is said to be sneaky fast with alot of movement. picthed a decent game in fenway a few daysago. maybe thats why plus boston is hot. i have seen lilly pitched some great games when he was on the yankees. WISH THEY STILL HAD HIM...KID
