I have read that the D-Backs want to trade Steve Finley before moving Johnson. Florida is apparently chasing Finley, as are San Diego and possibly Philly. I don't think Johnson going elsewhere is a sure thing. The Yanks would like him, but zona wants Posada as part of the deal, a player the Yanks aren't too keen on letting go.

Anaheim has a lot to give AZ. If the Mets would offer David Wright, he would be a Met.

Teams probably afraid of a repeat after the last time he got traded mid-season. He helped get the Astros to the playoffs but then lost two games in the opening series. I think the Yankees are the only team that really needs him, but they have nothing left from past sprees. I wouldn't be surprised at all if he isn't moved. The DBacks realize they are at least 2 or 3 years from being contenders again, getting developed veterans won't do them much good so a team is going to have to fork over solid prospects.

I'm surprised that White Sox, Cubs, and St.Louis haven't made a pitch or offer for his services.

If Old Man Pohlad actually goes out and pays for Randy Freaking Johnson, I'll personally give away $100 in a capping contest on the RX.

The Yankees may have moved back to the favorites roll after their terrible showing against the Red Sox this weekend.

Fish, if Mussina is worse than reported and Brown's back is still an issue they'll make a move.
