Where is Sandy Berger's defense?

I haven't seen alot of positive Sandy Berger posts in this forum.
Isn't anyone on this site going to defend Sandy Berger?

I've considered Sandy's crime, and why he did it; here are some of the possible defenses Sandy's supporters might put forth.

Maybe Sandy had a urine problem and was trying to prevent those embarrassing wet spots by putting the classified documents in his pants.

Or maybe he's suffering from an advanced case of senile dementia, and just isn't himself. He really did put those documents down his pants by accident.

But the best defense any of you left leaning bashers can entertain is that the real Sandy Berger was kidnapped and replaced with an evil Republican clone; put there by the fascist, neo-nazi, extrocentric, ultra-conservative religious zealots of the Republican Party, solely to embarrass the Democrat Party, and J.F. Kerry in particular..

Yeh, that's it, a clone! What a dastardly deed! How low can those awful people go!

This calls for a class war!

This what I've read in the editorials or heard on the talk shows:
1. A coverup (see the 911 report - how many times Berger nixed going after OBL)
2. An innocewnt mistake
3. As info for Kerry's campaign (It was pointed out that certain speaches were removed from Herry's web site and that certain policies underwent minor detail adjustments after Berger was outed.)
4. As info to cover up for Clinton, and/or to use against Bush.
5. None, or all, of the above

As to why I think he did it....
1. A cover up for something that hasn't come out yet.
2. As personal gain for providing some sort of info to the Clinton or Kerry camps.
3. As amunition for the Dems (not necessarily Clinton or Kerry) to use against Bush.

I'm sure that more information will come out, if there is more, or the story will die if there's nothing there.

One thing that I saw mentioned was the reports on flight 800 that some say was shot down out of NY.

There are still documents missing.

Also this is no mistake.Or as the Clinton people put it.. sloppy.This is some serious shit although the main stream media dosen't want you to think so.

I love how Slick Willie just laughed it off as Sandy being disorganized. And now the libs are trying to deflect the problem by talking about the "timing of the leak." I have to admit these guys are masters of spin.

I suspect Sandy Burglar was trying to hide something that was big time embarassing to the Clinton administration. We already know from the 9/11 report that he nixed going after Osama FOUR times!!

Word around the campfire is that the Clintonistas leaked it themselves,because they knew it was coming out...Have it come out now so it would hurt Kerry before the convention.
The only ones that want Kerry to lose more than I do is the Clintons.

Clintons want the demcratic nomination set up for Hillary in 2008.
If kerry wins then her earliest chance would be 2012..thats an eternity in politics.
There is a big riff right now between the Clintons and Kerry.

I agree with Patriot regarding his theory. Lets say that Bush wins, then after his four years there will not be a really good republican candidate. Hillary would have a shot.

It's not only Lurch the Clintons are worried about until 2012, it's also the Breck Girl. He would most likely be the choice then...but if they lose now Hillary will be the chalk in 2008.
