Two men leading the relief effort in New Orleans, but with different ideas over returning evacuees, are scheduled to meet Monday.

Vice Adm. Thad Allen, in charge of the federal government's Katrina response, said the mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin, should "slow down." Nagin said: "We believe our re-entry plan properly balances safety concerns and the needs of our citizens to begin rebuilding their lives.

She is getting her hair done and taking a much needed vacation due to all the pressures put on her as a result of the hurricane event is my guess? But the good news is that she has her staff working on the State's mission statement. It should be finished soon. It's in final draft.

Bush Questions Reopening of New Orleans

WASHINGTON -- President Bush on Monday questioned the plan to allow residents to return to New Orleans, saying there are too many concerns about additional flooding and safety in the city.

"We want this city to re-emerge. As I said, I can't imagine America without a vibrant New Orleans. It's just a matter of timing," Bush said. "We're cautious about encouraging people to return at this moment of history."
