Although I have gambled for many a year, I didn't start visiting forums and posting til about a year and a half ago so maybe my view point is skewed but I wanted to get some feedback from you guys.

I have noticed over the last few weeks how when personalties clash things can quickly get out of hand, for every guy that posts a pick there will always be someone with an opposing view but it seems that stating that you are on the opposite side isn't enough anymore. Guys will flame, argue, insult and trash one another. I just finished reading something at MW where somehow someone gets another persons personal info and starts contacting credit bureaus, Where do you draw the line?

Ragu you hit on a good point.

I think the key is sadly not to trust people with any personal info.. IMO it is extremely wrong for someone to do that. When someone goes to the "Personal INFO" card and posts stuff its a cry for help. It makes them feel like big men. So I guess bottom line is do not give any out.

AND

Always treat people in forums just like there are standing in front of you and how you want to be treated. If all posters where right infront of each other talking 99% of the flames would not be there

Lupux...Guys like Shack,MFG or Raiders having it out day in and day out is harmless I believe but I have heard of guys getting crank calls, or their personal info shared with others. That to me is a little more than interaction.

Dante...your dead on..it is a cry for help, if someone goes as far as stalking someone on the NET can a situation in real life be that far away.

These are just observations on my part and do not reflex any personal experiences of my own.

These posters insulting and flaming are jokes and hurt the forum. We would have an awesome group of very wise posters here if not for this chit.
