Where did you buy your airfare to the vegas get together?

I have been looking online for the cheapest place... anyone care to share where they buy the cheapest airfare? I have tried travelocity.com and expedia.com but wondering if there were other good ones.

If you can before confirming with one of these travel sites go to the airline directly and ask them their best price. When I was flying to NY a lot last year I did this and saved about 20% off the best rate I could find.

these are no frills but cheap. I flew from Detroit to Vegas in may for 129 each way on Spirit

If you are flying out of a decent size city you may also be able to find some private flights sponsored by the Casino's if you are planning on wagering. I use to do this a lot to the islands but haven't done it in years so I don't know if it is still being done a lot or not.If you know a local travel agent call and ask.

i didn't. for me it is 280 miles to vegas so i am driving. but i would try www.travelocity.com but realize they don't book all airlines (they don't book southwest - and if you can take SW, they will be the cheapest). i would also check the sites of the airlines for usually on-line is cheaper than calling them.

Winky..thats the airline I got SW is no frills but they get you there I would recommend them also if they fly out of your departure city
