People were saying the same thing when Jets played NE on Thursday prime time as a 9.5 dog in which they covered and lost on a last second FG. If the Jets game was today at 1pm I would agree with you. Miami would roll. But do you think a prime time MNF game at home against a divisional rival coming off a humiliating loss and catching 6.5 points change things a bit? I'm leaning towards the Jets right now, will wait to see if the line climbs to 7.
yes i think jets covered 2 games this year. overall they are terrible. trying to find that one special time they cover makes you look good but the 9 times they dont make you look bad.

Agree, it's not like people are betting on the Jets every week. It's situational play and yes you have to pick your spots. The prime time game against NE was a good spot to play them, a Pit team playing on the road at NY in a massive let down spot was a good spot to play the Jets. Even against Den they were catching a lot of points at home and should have covered (the Geno pick six in garbage time gave Den the cover). And I know I'm making your point with that Den cover. But my point is there are times where the Jets can be a good play on team when they are undervalued by the books. I feel catching 7 or close to 7 at home tomorrow on MNF against a divisional rival off a blow out loss is a good spot for NYJ.
