I don't know this bit of information off the top of my head, but I remember in the regular season the whole board fell for the trap of Lakers -3 @ Denver, to which Denver came out and beat them by double digits.

This line smells mighty fishy, my friends.

The Lakers were on the second night of a back to back when they played the Nuggets that game.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

I remember last year when the Lakers failed to cover every game in a particular series... Pretty sure Lakers -1 or 2 was one of the lines

It was the finals. Inexplicably, the Lakers were the series favorite and lost every game ATS (0-6) to a team that understood defense wins championships.

Interestingly, the same situation might occur again this year. If the Lakers make it past the current second and third rounds and Cleveland accomplishes the same. The teams will be facing each other in the Finals. The offensively driven Lakers, the public favorite, will again be the series favorite versus the Defensively driven Cavaliers. Again, there will be a huge Overlay. Defense wins championships.
