I was reading in the paper today that he got MAD at all the people at the press conference clapping for him about his great boxing career...Was this because he is still outside his mind and certifiable crazy OR does he realize he does not deserve any of it??:icon_conf

I feel sorry for him....It wasn't until he got hung up with the "brothers" that sh!t went crazy for him.

When he had the right guidance he was fine.

Fine? Is this a joke? This guy was arrested 20+ times before the age of 18. He is mentally delusional. He is up and down. He kicks the shit out of regular citizens at traffic lights. It is only a matter of time before he spends life in jail. He cannot control himself and never could.

I'd avoid him if I saw him in public, I'd look the other way and leave. He's not stable and could snap at any moment.

Its disturbing to say the least some of the things he says, I think he is a basicly a honest person . He has some issues that need some working on, like adjusting his thorazine or something but I think you can count on a honest answer from him.

Medication is the only thing that can save him...as great as he was as a boxer he is the exact opposite as a human being....without boxing he would have either been doing life by now or dead...

This guy is a crazy as they come...Any one who bites someones ear is not all there...Even when he is not in the ring his life has become a circus, It is really a shame because at one time he had the potential to be a great heavyweight

It's hard to understand anothers life without walking in their shoes, but without question, the guy is a loose cannon. Hopefully he does have a happy ending and not what is much expected.

Thanks dante, I would say those answers he gives can't be made up.I also would say he probably has been taking too much medication while fighting.Have you ever noticed about him he either gives a real nice answer or a real crazy answer, that has to do with his medication i'll bet. Lets not give him his medication and he might have the desire to go out and fight in the 7th round and win a fight instead apologizing to the fans that paid to see him.No offense but when you can't win aganist the irish white boys fahget about beating the brothers or the spanish fighters, it is time to hang it up whatever his problems are.

He was a great heavyweight, in the early 80's he fought everyone and knocked them out cold. It wasn't like he dunked anyone either he fought Holmes, Spinks, Ruddick, Burbeck, etc etc and all this in his teen's and early 20's. People hate on him because he could of been so much more. Everything was there for the guy to be one of if not the greatest of all time but he was too scarred up emotionally to do so and never really recovered after losing to Douglas. I actually feel sorry for the guy I hope he finds some sort of peace but with boxers happy endings are usually few and far between.

Considering most, if not all of you, have never met Mike or spent a significant amount of time around him, you should reserve your judgement as to what time of person he is when the media spotlight is not around him.

I always thought that MIKE went bonkers around the time he fired his good TRAINER and also started dating Robin Givens...

I think it is fair to pass judgement on someone who was arrested 20+ times before he was in the media spotlight. :toast:

He started to lose it when Cus D'Amato died from pneumonia. You could never convince me otherwise.
