It took me around 26 years before I figured out what I was really, really good at in life. You know supposedly everyone excels at 1 thing or another. What does everyone here excel at? Does any of it help you gambling??

Sick asked a similar question once at another forum, what are you better than everyone else at? I said it then and say it now, nothing.

If I had a gift it was being well rounded. I was pretty good at a lot of different stuff but not the best at anything. Diverse stuff too that allowed me to meet people who were into different things (i.e. jocks and nerds), chess, football, writing and always good with numbers. Just not the best at anything. This is high school I am talking about but still much the same. Pretty good at a lot of stuff but not the master of any of them.

You're not "pretty good" at all of them Parick. In fact one thing for sure I know you're lousy at.

Sincerely,

Do you even need to ask

I don't want to appear to be bragging but my math skills and memory help me TREMENDOUSLY. I didn't want to say gambling because that's not really true. I suck at gambling most sports so I am disciplined enough to stay away from them. My "talent" in life is the ability to annalyze my sport objectively and pick a good percentage of winners, and 90% of the time I can tell you which way the line will go. I don't scalp but if if I ever start losing on a consistent basis I have the ability to make $$$ that way also. I know it sounds like a lousy "talent" but it's better than none

Patrick, I suffer from the same thing, pretty good at most things but exceptional at nothing, besides what I mentioned in the post above.

I have a knack for golf, bass fishing, chewing fresh snuff, Asian women, college football and pissing off forum operators who promote crap books

I was very good at playing outdoor sports.

Mrs. McIrish you should really meet Mrs. Jones, we're only 35 to 40 miles up the road from Carrolwood off of I-75, and the two of you would certainly have one thing in common to chat about. Plus you both seem to have no qualms about sharing family secrets for the whole world to see.
