Whats your fav book by Mario Puzo?

I'm reading my first John Grisham novel, this guy spins a great yarn.

Superstar - you have to ask? He wrote several books all of which I read, but none compare to his classic runaway best seller "The Godfather".

Omerta means :A rule or code that prohibits speaking or divulging information about certain activities, especially the activities of a criminal organization.

puzo's storytelling made me visualize the setting and the characters more vividly than most other books its really a fun ride.:drink:

I liked "The Last Don" the best.

If you love gambling and a good story..then Fool's Die....will be a non-stop read.

He weaves a tale the way only Puzo can. I want to look for the Omerta to read now.

not a big fan of "The Last Don", although it's better than most crap out there now (King, Grisham, etc...). Loved the Godfather and the Sicilian more than anything

I Loved Fools Die and just started today The Family, however I have not read the Godfather (yeah, I'm a schmuck).


For the Grisham guy, all his are quality. A Time To Kill is still my fav, followed by the firm. I read the Broker in the spring and it was ok; read Bleachers one afternoon and enjoyed it, and just finished A Painted House this weekend (not a legal book, but interesting period piece).

Reading is good. enjoy.

Sal the problem is we can only enter an avatar at it's current size. We cannot enlarge or shrink (no pun intended). Right now your's is almost as large as any other avatar here. If you can find some other avatar slightly larger I might be able to use it (post in this thread if you do). The one you posted earlier in this thread is way to big.
