It's been so long ago i dont think it's an issue to post about it...
From my understanding Jman & Marty (owner) had a disagreement & Journey said too much.
Jman then had a brief stint over at eog with me, bucsfan, mofome, and blondie.
Journey & mofo clashed so that didn't last long...
Yes....majority as far as i know
After being a highly active poster here, I was hired at eog not long after it's inception.
Right after bucsfan was lured from here to work there.
Too much crap was going down over there, so I left and I was hired here.
BAS was already working here.
Wilheim left and BAS & I were made head mods.
Murph & Defying was hired after myself.
JakeT was a mod for a while but chose to leave to pursue other things.
OldManTed was also a part time mod but with therx budget somewhat cut back, he wanted to help & left to make it easier.
As for how who is hired, I think one of the more important things is knowing you can trust someone 100% since you have to do work through the Administration Panel & one could screw the whole site/forum up if they chose to or didn't know what they were doing.
Not the only reason of course, but a very important one...

Think he floated around here & there, but not sure if he's still around...
Its the same username with all posts, he reappeared when they changed mods, just checked though and he's now been banned.
Yeah no telling.
Could be an act of desperation.
Wouldn't doubt anything over there after they stooped as low as deleting my name & all posts...
Yeah I'm limited over there. Wonder if the old head mod could be behind it as he showed up a right after he left.

I think EOG was something that came on strong, but faded quickly. I think many people had many (small) reasons to go over there, then found out that the grass wasn't greener.
I'm curious about your opinion of here.
I for one think it's a double edged sword here when comparing. (The environment is different).
