Here's the deal. I'm a hundred to a two hundred dollar player and take a

few bets here and there. A few guys at work call only on playoffs and big

games to bet. Usually $50 to $100 bets but today one guys wants $200 on

the Ravens and a $200 parlay Ravens and Philly. I personally think this has

a good chance of hitting. What do you guys think? I'm not worried about

the straight wager but the parlay. Should I take this bet? Thanks

There's a reason books makes money...chances are he will lose. If he wins, chances are he comes back for more next week, in which his chances are he will lose.

The most he can win is $720 (assuming the $200 parlay wins $520); take the bet...if Ravens lose, you've made $420.00; if Ravens win..then place a bet on the Eagles straight to minimize your potential exposure...also make sure you give him the worst of it (I.E...Ravens -4 and Eagles -3') and make sure you get the best of it (you should buy the Eagles down to -2' should you have to play the Eagles after the Raves game)...if the Eagles win by 3, you'll be a happy man.

Thanks for the input. He already said, he's going to or wants to put serious cash on Oklahoma.

I use to take bets from about 10 people back in high school and college. 20 years ago. I'm thinking about it again. Like you know, gamblers know gamblers.

If it's more than you're willing to lose, don't take it.

Take the bets...even the Oklahoma bet. All three teams that you mentioned he is going to take have a great opportunity of losing. Plus with two of the three he is laying points on the road in the playoffs???? Rookie coach, rookie qb going against a savvy QB and mastermind VP of ops. Then you have the old offensive co-ordinator going against Philly with the best run defense in the nfl and an over rated qb. Plus, playing in that dome??? Read more than a few times that the dome is one of the loudest places to play ever.

I took the bets. Hopefully, like every one knows, parlays are sucker bets. I hope that doesn't bit me in the ass.

Dont get too greedy, I have been hit hard from many parlays this year by keeping htem instead of turning them in. For example kept a 2 teamer from last night and it hit for 1250.

If anything keep half of it. And BTW are you from edinboro?
