East Carolina is a running team that doesn't put up big numbers. Plus their starting RB and tackle are out.

Unfortunately for them, their defense is dinged badly as well.

Houston is running Texas Tech's offense (hired their OC to run it) and scoring nicely while passing for 400 yards a game.

If you look at East Carolina's defense last year, the scores against teams who passed well were 45-42, 34-31, 37-35, and 56-40. They can't stop this type of offense and have not shown they can put up big points this year yet with the injuries.

Houston can definitely win this game outright.

Pitt to get slaughtered at USF next Thursday, especially if USF loses tomorrow and Pitt wins big (will keep the spread down on USF)

pitt won't win big. They only average 21 points a game and they are favored by like 15 pts or so.

Doesn't make much sense to me.

I think Syracuse this weekend is a GREAT bet against Pitt for that reason alone. Syracuse is bound to score a few points against Pitt and keep it within 15 pts

Agree with Syracuse being a nice choice. Got +15.5 on it a few days back. Not my favorite of the week but worth a bet for sure.

Ohio St against Penn St. Hopefully PSU is still undefeated by then. I think OSU is at home and they will be at least -6.5 unless public perception gets it down to around 3 or 4. They'll win by at least 10.

I agree with them winning, but I cant see them being 6.5 point favorites against an unbeaten PSU team.
