For the Divisional round, the Chargers are a 6 point dog and the Ravens are only a 3 point dog. However the Chargers odds to win the Super Bowl are set at +500 while Ravens are at +1000.

I understand if both the Chargers and Baltimore win this coming weekend the game would be in San Diego, but the discrepency in odds doesnt make much sense to me.

Who wants to make a stab at it?


It's easy to say Vegas thinks San Diego has a chance to win it all (by giving that low +500) and thinks the Ravens go packing this weekend(by giving out the +1000). However than why would they give out a large +6 number to San Diego? :think2:


(side note: if you want to bet the Chargers to win it all...Bet ML and roll it over each week, youll be up more if it pans out)

Interesting! Chargers are getting hot at the right time bu they got lucky & some help from the refs to win that game vs the Colts. Traveling east to play the Steelers in the cold is not there element & Rivers will be overwhelmed with the Steelers defense, Steelers by 17!

I think Vegas is just saying... no rookies this year are gonna take it down. Ravens might pull off another game... but if they make it to the SB--it's lights out for them, even with the #2 defense in the league.

They caused a turnover prior to the half yet the refs called it in the Colts favor. They fumbled the ball going into the endzone for a TD. They threw an INT going into the endzone.

SD outplayed Indy and had enough talent to overcome some gamechanging calls and turnovers.

I don't think the CHarges got lucky vs. the Colts. If anything the Colts were lucky. Sproles fumbled 7 points away on the 1 inch line and the Colts got 7 more points on a play the Chargers defense didn't know there was a game going on. That is 14 right there.

The Colts my friend were a joke all year. They couldn't run all year. They won a lot of close games which is a sign of a good team but the colts really struggled scoring vs. good teams.

it will be interesting to see what happens this weekend. It seems so easy to me and it's not easy so I will be shocked at a few of the outcomes. I love Carolina to beat up AZ. I even like it -10. Giants over Philly. I think this could be a 15 point win. TENN over BALT in a close one. Edge goes to TENN because I just cannot see Balt scoring over 3 or 6 without getting actual TD's from the D. What else? San Diego plus 6? I like that as well but not as much as I like the 3 above. Finally, if I had to pick an over/under I like Phili/Giants over 41.

GOod luck my friends, unless of course you are betting against my picks in which case I wish you bad luck. lol. I think the AZ game is toughest to break down because they took the last month off. They are better than people think which is why I'd love to get them at 9.5 and tease it to 2.5. Hmmm. I'm sitting here talking myself out of the pick. I just know Vegas built in about a 3 point cushion because they know the $$$ will be on Carolina. It's never that easy.
