My Giants have been a complete enigma except for being completely undisciplined and we're banged up particularly in the secondary... I don't know what to think about this game.

We have the better all around team. We have the run defense to contain and even shut down Gurley. We have the secondary to match up against their receivers. The pass rush hasn't quite put up the numbers but the pressures are there. Defense is starting to generate turnovers and the offense finally woke up a little against Baltimore.

One week the defense shits the bed, next it's the offense is incapable of scoring any points, one week the receivers want to fumble and drop every single pass thrown at them, the next week Eli can't hit his target, penalties galore....

We have a BYE following this game.

With all that being said we should win. We have the better team, better everything really and we generally travel well.

What say you?

Line opened at 3, went to 2.5 quick but I think the line will get back to -3 possibly -3.5 come game time. Unless it shifts completely to 1.5 then I'm lost haha

NYG4 life

I hate these London games they are frankly ridiculous !!! One edge possibly is that the Giants being an East Coast team will wake up in london at 5-6 am local time NYC to prepare for the game, where as the Rams will be up at 2-3 am there local time LA.
I think they are pretty well evenly matched with a slight edge to the Rams D and the Giants have slight edge on offense with OBJ, but in the run department Rams have huge edge with Gurley and Giants have no running game !! It's a coin toss for me but I hope your Giants win !!! I couldn't play this game nor watch it !!

cheers

Another shitass game in London.....The NFL is digging deep to ignite a fuse under their wavering game. The players hate these "jet-lag" games but when you
play-for-pay you have to do what the paymaster says.

I feel like Giants defense matches up with them really well and the special teams or defense will score a touchdown. Giants probably win this one in a funny weird game because Rams travel well and it shouldn't be a blowout either way but I like Gmen

I need to look it up but I have a hunch the favorites do well in London. I could be wrong, i know jacksonville won the last London game as dogs

Where did I say that? If anything I said the exact opposite. We are highly inconsistent.

Manning being the big one. That guy can throw for 4 td's a look good, or throw 4 int's and look terrible. I personally think the guy is overrated. He has two rings courtesy of his defense.

I don't expect the line to jump up to 3.5. I think it may go back to 3 but that will be the most. I think the public will be on the Giants and the OVER and clearly (based on line movement) the sharps are going the other way.

I am conflicted, but I do think sharp money will keep the line in check. -3.5 seems to generous for Rams bettors, IMO. These teams are both really inconsistent. If the Giants were at home would they be 5.5 - 6 point favs? That seems like too much. I guess my early read on this is a lean toward the Rams, but that is hard team to bet on. (I did bet the Giants last week-- and covered. But felt lucky to do so).

Interesting that the Rams went straight to London after being in Detroit on Sunday. Giants are really banged up and last time these 2 played in St. Louis Beckham got hit way out of bounds and a brawl happened. Giants coaches and players were very ticked off at Fisher because Rams committed a lot of 'dirty' cheap shots and penalties in that game. No love lost here.

DE Robert Quinn had full practice today and looks like he will start on Sunday in London, he is key to the Rams pass rush could pose problems for Eli Manning, he was sorely missed last week vs the Lions !!!!

cheers

lean Giants but Jeffy may pull a good coaching game out of his ass this week. so hard to tell with him. the Rams always seem to do the opposite of what you expect. they look suck and dead and then upset a team. then they play well and you think they turned it around and they start to suck again.

Giants kicker Brown in case you all haven't heard already is most likely going to be suspended and probably cut, and that may happen before the London game. If that's the case our kicking game and field goals/xp's will be an adventure. Hell we may even have to go for it on 4th down on occasion. What a mess.
