Wake Forest won't make the elite 8 possibly not even the sweet 16

This team is not that good. I am not that impressed with Teague at all to create shots for himself. On top of that they have no clue how to finish games.

They are lucky they beat Duke as they couldn't close out an 11 point lead with 4 minutes to go. You can just see this team getting nervous at the end and in the tournament that isn't going to bode well for them.

The last minute of the Georgia Tech game was pathetic

-Teague steps up and misses the front end of a 1-1.
-Shot clock violation as they sit at the halfcourt line all the way until only 7 secs are left on the clock.
-Turn the ball over with 7 seconds remaining and a TIMEOUT in their pocket because they couldn't get the ball in.
-Allow Shumpert to drive right to the same spot he did just 10 seconds ago in order to tie the game.

I'll bet anyone $10,000 they make the sweet 16.

And they have a great chance to make the elite 8 and final 4 depending on matchups.

Maybe you should join an English forum. I could give a fuck less.

Did that sentence pass inspection?

I'll never understand people busting balls over something like then/than in a sports gambling forum. Get a life loser.

Typical letdown game for them and GT matches up well with their big men inside.

Give me Wake Forest +10 at Duke and I will unload on them.

Guess I'll have to make my first post pro Wake Forest:

Remember this is a young team w/ a young coach. They will get better in these situations throughout the season.

Wake does have 2 lottery picks in Aminu and Teague. Teams loaded w/ NBA talent have faired well in the tourney the last few years:

FLA x2 w/ Horford, Noah, Brewer
KU w/ Rush, Arthur, Chalmers

*I'll be on Wake +10@Duke too - bump it

This Wake team is beyond impressive. IMO they are the very best in the country, and have proved it on the court. GT pretty much just played a perfect game. I have watched Tech numerous times this year, and this was by far their best performance, and still barely won at home. Wake will be there when it is all said and done

I never said they didn't have talent, but they do not know how to close out big games. Their coach has done a horrible job coaching them at the end of games.

Plain and simple they will let one of these teams hang around when they should have put them away and they will get beat just like they did today.

It's all good to have different opinions. I have no problem with that. Evidently I am in the minority here, but I just don't think they have the game IQ(NOT TALENT) to take them all the way through the tournament. The great thing is that we will know the answer in a month and a half.

Duke will beat them on a neutral court and most definitely at home.

Duke has way more flaws then Wake. Neither team shoots the 3 ball that well. That is basically Wake's only weakness. The difference is Wake's size, and athleticism in the front court. Nobody, not even Carolina can match Wake's size. I don't even think Duke is close.

All that size and all those blocks that Wake got, the terrible FG% for Duke in that game 33% vs 40% from Wake Forest and they still needed a buzzer beater to win.

Say what you will, Feb 22nd Duke will hand it to this team.
