I'm not a big fan of Padraig Harrington but you have to give the guy his props. After going +5 the first 2 rounds he shot 66-66 to win the PGA. Sergio Garcia.....did a Sergio.

Guys like Tiger, Jordan, Montana, Bird, Brady and do I dare say Harrington are winners.
The question is:

What makes these guys winners and the rest Sergios?

"Pad" is a grinder. He tries on every shot and his demeanor is unchanged from shot to shot. Truly an example of "success breeds success"!

Plus, he has turned into a great putter.....

Hard work, dedication, natural talent and IQ.

Ever see a consistent winner who was a dumb ass?!

Padraig won because of his putter. Some of the most clutch putting I've ever seen. Him and Tiger are the only two I would trust to make a tough putt to win the tournament. It was so easy to tell Sergio was going to miss any semi-tough putt down the stretch, and he missed three of them in the final four holes I believe, and that is why he lost.

Harrington is a guy you like to cheer for, and with Tiger out I'm glad he was able to benefit and was very happy to see him win yesterday.

its as much the other guy faltering as it is the eventual champion becomming the champion .

their is element of luck involved .

but bottom line : some guys have it and most others dont.

what " it " is , i'm not sure... i know i dont have it..

harrington had the balls to rip 3 wood down 16 while sergio puckered up with 5 wood . that 40 yards was the difference in the tourney. even though harrington gagged on the second shot , he always had a chance to make par. sergio didnt ..

if sergio had hit 3 wood right next to paddy's ball , we might have had a different outcome...

he couldnt do it for some reason

You must have missed all of the rest of the clutch putts Sergio made all day. His big mistake was using a 5 wood off the tee. Simple as that..This was the difference in the match ending on the 18th or going extra holes..In reality, if Sergio had played smarter, Harrington would have needed his putt on the 18th for a tie instead of a win..In that case the outcome could have turned out different..But Sergio let him off the hook 2 holes before that.. Just like Phil Mickelson made the mistake in the U.S. Open of putting his driver up and using his 3 wood for the tournament...You don't see Tiger Woods making these kinds of mistakes. In golf, it's a very fine line between first and second...Sergio will probably learn from his mistakes and win a major someday..But he first has to get his head screwed on straight..And play with better strategy...Tiger is very talented...But if you ever noticed, he wins half of his tournaments because he's the smartest player on the course..He has a tendecy to make other golfers do stupid things under pressure and fold like a tent.

Them not being ignorant like you probably helps.

Referring to the entire world's Indian population:

They would get gold as thieves.
Now before anyone jumps down my throat I am speaking from personal experience. I have had 2 different business dealings with Indian people and both times I got screwed for thousands of dollars. One case is about to go to court for damages.

I have no respect for this race of people and I suggest if you must do business with East Indians...watch your back. I know that is a blanket statement but that is how I feel as of this moment.

Listen asshole...get back on the banana boat and get the fuck out of this country. Nobody wants you here.

When are you sand niggers going to learn?
That is how strongly I feel about it and if that means I get banned for it...so be it.
