I have tried 1 2 3 4 and 5 and actually feel better playing just 2. I can take more time then if I have 3 or 4 and i do not feel in just clicking like crazy to keep up

I'm like you, two is plenty. I've played up to three but it's difficult to concentrate. I don't see how some people play 15 and 20 tables at once.

I was on PS last week and one of the guys at the table was at supernova status. Do you realize how much you have to play to attain that? He stated that he was currently playing on 18 tables.

Are you familiar with supernova status on PS? It's one step below where you have enough points for the Porsche. If you don't think there are people out there playing 15-30 tables at once then you'd be wrong.

18 tables... was the guy named fishhead?:ohno:

lol, no. I can't remember the guy's screen name. Do you know how hard it is to obtain supernova status? Very difficult.

yeah part of me thinks that is a joke ... its like you would have to play 24/7 for 10 years losing your ass to get that status

I just checked, it's 100k in points for supernova and 1 million for supernova. I've seen some of these internet guys on TV with multiple computer screens with like 10 tables on each screen.

You're right, that's their job, playing online poker all day.

I would have to believe though that you would earn more points playing at the highest levels. Still, how do you bankroll something like that?

LOL at people thinking 18 tables is impossible.

Obviously it requires a great deal of concentration but some of the top online grinders out there play anywhere up to 24 tables with a substantial win rate.

You should see the sick PC set ups these guys have with multiple monitors and what not.

If one plays 18 tables at once, one can't be very effective at each and every table.
That's just too much action going on at one time for one to play every hand correctly.

There are obviously some very successful people out there who can do it. I'm sure they measure their success by their overall play at the end of the day rather than at each and every table.

log into PStars. Go to the NL tables. Look at a few 3/6 tbls and a few 5/10 tbls. you will see the sames names at most tbls. run a search on their names via PStars menu bar.... you will see they are playing 10, 15, tbls all the time. same people, week after week, month after month, year after year. They will put you all in preflop with QQ for 1k + without thinking twice. They have deep pockets.

Most online pro's set ups look something like this.

Not only do they need all multiple monitors for all the tables they have running, but they also need them for all the different types of poker tracker programs, like PT3, PokerHUD, etc.
