All mentioned above are great, but the then mail subscription newsletter that gave me the tools to have great seasons in the early nineties was today's phil erwin's baseball-insight. com.
His quality starts, L/R, D/N, O/U totals were ahead of the curve back then..now most all stats are found in many similar formats.
I used primarily that newsletter to fire out from the near grave back into a serious bankroll during the summer of '92, to the tune of 36 winning days versus 7 losing ones one stretch, and not just barely winning days, but 8-3 type days..no lie.
Groundball/Fly, Left/Right, & Day/Night numbers were absolutely working like magic that summer.
As Sheff/Crime Dog/Gwynn were absolutely smacking the ball everyday as dogs w/Hurst(?) & Co as starters, they were my main moneyteam, also Paul O'Neill's Reds, Atl Braves, & Big Hurt's Sox, had vicious tears in midsummer that I rode daily.
The Pads & Reds were my moneyteams, that one or two teams every gambler falls in love with to a particuliar season, that they get in sync with, and ride to their best profits.
Despite proliferation of such info today, still his Spiral notebook or ROM year-logs are a must for serious players.
