The Saints going 10-3 and walking away and clinching the division...

Or the dirty birds winning and going to 8-5 with the Saints staying at 9-4

Compile the fact that Carolina is 8-4 and most certainly a win this week

Then you throw in the Saints versus Atlanta game on Christmas Eve with both team potentially being 9-5 (Saints play Jets potential loss and Atlanta is at Tampa most likely a win) and playing for first place. Rating will be through the roof for that game.

AND THEN you compound the fact that Carolina will most likely be 10-5 going into their week 17 matchup versus the birds and playing for the division in the off ignored week 17

My money is on the birds tonight

That's exactly what I typed in my thread, except for I think the Saints will beat the Jets & Atlanta & Tampa in week 17 to finish 12-4 & win the division.......the Atlanta vs Carolina game in week 17 will be very significant, winner gets the #5 or #6 seed, maybe both get in, depends what happens with Seattle, Gbay......& now I'm dizzy cause there are too many scenarios looking that far ahead!

Carolina is probably the most difficult game this week. I like them but not a certain win against the Vikings.

Doesn't really matter the NFL is dictating the scenarios. Just like Seattle last Sunday night, they got every call and penalties were like 10-1 in their favor at one point.

that's kind of similar thinking to when PHI beat DAL. Can't let PHI run away with div vs americas team?? DAL has to win right?

Gambling forums are filled with the notion that the NFL, which has 9 billion in revenue, is engaged in a major conspriacry to throw/choose outcomes. These are extraordinary claims, and shitty reffing (and no doubt the refs suck) is not evidence of a major conspiracy. A leak would destroy the NFL.

For every example of a game that went the right way for the NFL you could name an example of a game that goes the other way. I hate Goodell and the NFL office, but the SEA/PHI game is not persuasive evidence of the greatest conspiracy in sports since the Black Sox. But these posts come up on every gambling forum after every tough beat. If the NFL wanted a more competitive league, why not let KC win a few games so the AFC has more competition. Why would they not have Dallas and New York be playoff teams, given their massive fan bases?

These kinds of threads are comical. 9 times out of 10 they are huge fails but the 1 time it comes in the o.p. acts like they are Nostradamus.

Good post. Seemed like the refs favored the Falcons, especially first half. But it came down to pure luck, let's face it. Lousy weird game.
