I have noticed that i have learned to research first, then post.

Ala "Think twice, post once"

Do it away from the forum as well. Also, i am much more thoughtful & creative in email conversations.

I notice that posting in a forum helps in day to day life.

Any observations by you?

Thanks

I'm an all around better person because of the Prescription.

Seriously, it excercises my imagination and sense of humor.

Tons General!...and I will have to agree with you regarding posting habits being one of the top answers. I registered summer last year and after spending 1 hour reading almost every single day from that day and on, until now I feel capable enough to post and share what I've learned so far. IMO a year ago couldn't contribute with much, now I might say I not only can but know how to do it...
Several useful wagering and life teachings came to me from unnoticed threads and posters...you can learn so much by simple Observation..of course that some patience is required

its taught me a little about how to decide where to play bets at. but that was more from reading stuff others said than posing stuff myself. unfortunatley this is all to new for me to add anything of substance for others to learn from me.

Uncle B,

Well put!

I've basically learned that there are a lot more idiots running around than I previously thought and I've learned that the books will never go broke if they have any clue to what they're doing.

One thing I have learned...is DO NOT talk Politics to Sports gamblers as they are way too Opinionated and usually don't know what the F*** they are talking about!

Oh yes,

What I have learned....

Well....

Umm.....

OK - what has been re-enforced in my brain:

1. 40 people make 90% of the posts in ALL internet forums.

2. Most people know something. Nobody knows everything.

3. Even a shill can provide a little insite.

4. I like this site better.

What I learned

"Don't believe everything you read"

There is a lot of misinformation and pure lies on here and every other forum. Especially here, where everyone is looking for an edge that they don't want anyone else to find.

There are alot of people here trying to lead you astray...
