Hell, i know they aren't even in the playoffs as i type this, but if you gamble on them making it in, seems like tremendous value to me. They certainly wouldn't be your average #8 team, with a star like KG

Does anyone else see any value in this, or am I letting hometown wishes go to my head? :howdy:

I think the way they are playing 70-1 to win the NCAA might be about right.

If you can get at least 35-1 once they make the

playoffs, then better to wait unless you think they
are 50%+ to get there.

I rather see NO goes to the playoff than Minn/Orl/Port....
Though it's good to fade them than puttin $$ on them... Every gambler is currently sleepin dreamin that they will hit a big one on Minn/Orl/Port because they lost so much on them... With that in mind... Either fade them or don't play em at all... Sorry to break your heart... Hometown goin down ;-(

I always look for plays like this. A team that has the talent to play with anyone but underachieves all year.

I think it is worth the shot for maybe 1/10th of a unit because it pays so much.

If they don't even make the playoffs, oh well you lost very little.

If they do you can always sell short at WSEX or some other market and make some money.

their chances of catching Denver are about 10-15%, first of all...it's not the distance back, it's the number of games AND how well the Nuggets are playing...

IF MIN gets there they are probably fair at 70-1...making their current fair odds at 350-1 if you generously assumed 20% of catching the Nuggets

Don't waste your money. There is no chance they even come out of the West, and there is very little chance that they even get into the playoffs at all. Just my 2 cents.

save that money for a rainy day.

Denver seems to have locked up the 8 spot. Playoffs seem like a longshot.

normally i would say 70-1 take a shot but not here.the only team they can pass at this point to get into the playoffs would be denver at #8.denver winners of what seems like 100 of there last 101 games is rolling.the 8 u see in the playoff picture now are in.no one will catch these 8.

Denver looks tough to catch the way they are playing,

would hope for miracle and expect 50-1 if Minn
makes it -I'll root for you!:smoker2:

Very good points math. denver is certainly going to take a spot from someone. However, if minny makes playoffs, they have the talent to upset one of the higher west seeds.

For quite some time now, this twolves team has had chemistry problems.

If 50-1 once playoffs begin, I'd certainly think it would have value.

I'm on board now at 98-1 to win the West at Olympic. Odds way too high now.

2.5 games back of Denver if they hold on to beat NJ. Both have difficult schedules coming up, still one game head to head.

Go T-Wolves!

i live here and have tried to understand this disaster of a team all year. At this point they are only 33% chance to get in (ie pass Denver) and even after that ID say approx 100-1 to win it from the 8 hole. Just a disaster of a team, no heart or skill past KG.
