Best league in Central America. We've had a couple of very good players.

PS: hope you win the Saprissa poll.

I can tell you this much, we are right now holding probably third as quoted on espn from the concacaf region after

1- Mexico
2- USA
3- CR
4- Honduras

yet I know we should be number one if it's our passion yet it ain't unfortunately

I was raised in California, Pasadena to be more precise and they would always call me a mexican, you can't imagine how much I hated it and yet they loved it

We're better than Canada for example, they play a lot of soccer, have more money to invest in sports, they have a larger population, nicer stadiums and facilities, etc. Better than all the teams in the Caribbean, best team in Central America in history (clubs and national team), local clubs have done good in CONCACAF Cups, we qualified first in Group to the Japan&Corea World Cup over Mexico and the US. Costa Rica has produced good players who have been succesful in Europe... Alejandro Morera, Paulo Wanchope, Gabelo Conejo, Walter Centeno, Hernan Medford, Gilberto Martinez, amongst others.

Good enough for a small poor country with a 3rd World mentality.
