What did you learn last weekend?

I learned a few things this weekend going 4-5-1.

1st. I have no business betting on teams that both have new coaches. I went 0-2 on those plays. Indiana & Miami

2nd. I do not have a feel for ND. My capping was way off on this game. I would like to see an over and under on Coach Kelly having a heart attack.

3rd. My capping style on Northwestern was right on. This was the game I put the most time into capping.

4th. weather conditions fcuked me up.

5th. Laying 36 (WIS) points is too much chalk. This is the problem when using a local book. Playing online there was chances to get it under 32.

6th. Boise St. could make another sick run ATS this year.

I think Boise lights up the scoreboard again this year, play em every week and maybe the over also...

I was at the ND game, and yes the weather was sick..... ND was also sick, that first turnover was a game changer , 5 turnovers, 3 in the redzone, one returned for 7, sick.... should have been 21 points difference... look for them to bounce back strong against Michigan

Wisconsin should have covered, also had em.... got backdoored.... could have middled that game....

Boise State will run up the score every chance they get. They KNOW that the BCS is just looking for an excuse to keep them out of the BCS Championship game.

Indiana and Colorado are going to have a transition period and are not yet ready for prime time with new coaching systems. Players on both these teams bought in and the coaches, both first time HC's, just are not up to to it just yet.
USC is still feeling the pain and loss of depth.
You do not want to get into a shootout with Baylor.
Maryland's O'Brien is a gamer and needs to gain some weight.
Miss St may have the best triplets in the country.
Texas is back on track with two back to back tests coming up to fully test them.
Florida is improved in my book.
UCF may not have missed a beat.
Notre Dame blew one big time and may take it out on Michigan this week.
UCLA looked pretty good and will not be a push over this year.
Geeogia Tech can throw the ball now so watch out.

Nailed that one.

I also think that ND isn't as bad as they looked. To have all those costly turn-overs and only to lose by 3, not to shabby. They could have won that game by 21.

UGA's offense had no discernable gameplan - Mark Bobo strikes again. Defense looked confused out there, just like last year. Loss of Ogletree on the o-line was big. Around 150 run yards, 80 of which were on a trick play to Boykin. Kellen Moore could have wrote a term paper in the backfield - I don't think a red jersey got within 5 yards of him all night. Totally anemic pass rush. This is a bad team. Full stop.

Colorado State is the same crap road team they were last year.

Betcha Boise goes 12-0.

Their only chance at being invited to the big game is if both LSU and Bama lose at least once each and OU slips up someplace. They have to break into the top 3 somehow and fairly soon or they are screwed again by a system that won't allow a non-AQ team to make the big dance regardless of who they may mow through on their way to going undefeated (even if they lose just twice in 5 years) and knock off every ranked team they play. They seem to "unrank" teams quite often and that tends to hurt them. ??????
