Correct answer is No...u will have 2 different IP address but it will be somewhat similar as they both come from same ISP..think of it like same street but different unit i.e 1300 Broadway and 1580 Broadway. Are u doing something illegal and try to hide your IP address?��
Good answer to a strange question. Who has 2 different modem/routers with the same cable provider? If you have a cable modem in your home and another one in a summer home 100 miles away then the IP addresses will be different.
Now if you put a cable splitter on your home cable and hook up 2 modems then you may be breaking the terms of your agreement with your cable provider and the results are beyond my scope.

not tryin to hide....long story short = son lives in rv behind my home and up until now I connected his computer to the router/modem in my home. router/modem went bad and while iwas buyin another one at at&t sister bought me one of of ebay so I was curious what if we had individual modem/routers would email,etc change...reason for the question is I know nothin about computers...thanks for yer response.
