If we are talking strictly about the lines and line value, the only team in the Big 12 last year that was somewhat overlooked was Baylor in the first half of the season. And maybe OU late in the year. Otherwise this conference was a tough son of a bitch to cap. And it's gotten a lot tougher now that they play a round robin format. We are in the third season of that format, and with every team playing each other every year, they have become so familiar with each other that it makes it hard to find good line value. Especially with the teams who keep their same coaching staffs and use the same system every season. If I had to give any advice to anyone playing this conference for the first time, it would be to look for the dogs to start covering a few more games late in the season. And I also look to bet against teams who aren't getting good QB play, and are made the favorites or very short dogs in their games. More times than not these teams won't cover. TCU was a good example of that last year...BIX XII for me as well. And I also agree that while it might not go overlooked, it certainly doesn't get the discrepancy the ACC/ SEC/ PAC 12 gets.
