Why are we still sitting at home in a lot of states? We were told by opening their doors, Georgia, Tennessee and Florida would spiral into death and despair yet the opposite is happening. Never in our history have we quarantined healthy people. And meanwhile, people are going undiagnosed for cancer, women aren't getting mammograms, kids aren't getting vaccinations and all the while, our unemployment rate has exploded and businesses are closing at a rapid pace. So, I ask you great posters of the RX, what the fuck are we doing?
I'm not a huge fan of Dave Portnoy but he said it perfectly last night. He said "When did we go from flattening the curve so we don't overwhelm hospitals to sitting on our asses waiting for a cure to COVID-19?"
All of us went a long with the 5 RX Doom and Gloomers because he had to and now what? None of the data has been proven true and we're worse off than when this stupid shit started.
Go back to work everyone. We have to turn it around and fix the economy. Old people and people that are susceptible to illness need to stay home but the rest of us have a better chance getting struck by lightening than dying from this overhyped media-driven illness.
