Great for dieting: Fish and chicken first and foremost if you want to not be hungry.

Are you just trying to lose weight or are you wanting to put on some muscle while losing?

If you want to do the muscle rout, chicken and tuna are great as well as things like almonds, peanuts, etc etc.

You need to work out (IE lifting weights) if you go that route.

For just plan losing weight and still eating decent, fish, chicken, salads... cut out the soda and switch to Crystal Light or something if you need a flavored drink. I still drink beers but it's not healthy... certain hard A's are gonna be better if you are a drinker. I personally like low fat shit (milk, mayo, granola bars) just as much as the normal stuff so switch it up if you can handle the taste. Other then that, just keep the calories down below what they were before and exercise as much as possible (running, biking, basketball, swimming, whatever you like to do that makes you sweat) and the pounds will start to fall off.

On a daily basis I'll have oatmeal, brown rice, vegetables, chicken, tuna and lean turkey.

Good fats almonds and avocados. I mix the vegetables with a half an avocado with lean turkey and add some terriyaki sauce all into a bowl for dinner and it tastes f'ing great.

Oh yeah turkey was another great one I forgot. Turkey sandwiches with wheat bread, lettuce, tomato, low fat mayo, mustard, and some cheese are a staple of my diet.

Another good food (don't know if they sell them near you guys) is a 12-pack of El Monterey burritos. Only like $2.50 for them and they are tasty and no trans fat. Only like 200-300 calories each. Good stuff.

For the people that can't stop stuffing the piehole at night...stuff it with popcorn(no butter). Eventually you will get used to it and save about a million calories a year.
