Search
posters saying stuff like the US needs to mend relations with some countries. What the hell are you talking about? Bush and Powell were the only two that told the truth the others have lied the whole time.

France, Germany and Russia need to come hat in hand and make an unconditional public apology or be cut off completely financially. HOW AM I WRONG??????????????????????????????????????? I'M NOT!

Why should France, Germany and Russia need to apologize?

For not wanting to rush out and vote to kill people?

Yes actually you are but more than likely won't understand why.

First of all it's a global community, we all need each other for commerce. Also what about a conflict with a country that actually has a chance of defending itself, that's why you need allies. Lastly to assume that the U.S. will be the dominating super power until the end of time is a very dangerous assumption, throughout the course of humanity it has always shifted.

You can't go around burning bridges like that. Think of this, you say phuck everybody else, but what if the whole world said phuck the U.S. Then stopped buying our products, stopped visiting our country, stopped giving us visas to visit their countries. What if they all really got tired of our shit and declared war on us.

Open your eyes expand your horizons. Are you one of those guys that's never left the state he was born in?

Kaya,

What you say sounds very good in theory, but the reality, France, Russia, and Germany were simply protecting their business interests with Iraq. I am not saying they should apologize, but they were never planning on acting in a global comunity sense in the first place. You can say, that their intentions were just as imperialistic as the USA only worse because they were hiding behind their own hipocrasy.

Alex,

These to statements contradict each other.

"but the reality, France, Russia, and Germany were simply protecting their business interests with Iraq"

"but they were never planning on acting in a global comunity sense "

They have business ties with other countries, that's what the global community is about. The problem with the States is that our arrogance too often makes us think we are the only ones with a say as to what is right or wrong in the global community.

Any way the reality is that international ties will have to be mended after this, and I don't think we can expect anyone to apologize after we basically said phuck you world we want a war any way.

Don't worry Kaya, the next President from the Democratic party will be able fix all the ties the US has broken. Nevertheless, that probably will not happen after election 2008. Well, that is not if Giuliani ever runs for president.

Alex the great I don't know how many times I need to mention this. France did less than 1% of there entire trade withg Iraq. They for sure are going to lose much more than 1% by stupid Americans boycotting there products and a certain drop in American tourists. This was obviously a moral decision not a financial decision on Frances part.

France, Germany and Russia need to come with hat in hand no excuses. Just wait and see what's uncovered in Baghdad. That's the reason they don't want us in Iraq.

Alex,

I'm not so worried that a Dem pres. get in the White House, but anyone with an I.Q. higher than his/her waist size, that doesn't seem to enjoy killing, and that doesn't believe in reducing civil liberties would be nice. Any way I suppose how soon a deseperately needed pres. change will come depends on how bad the economy gets after the war.

BTW Alex, nice talking to ya, how's it going up there?
