This guy has the guts of a burglar (well that makes sense seeing as he is one) to promote having won this game last night, when the line was clearly 2.5 or 3 for most of the day until late.

BIG AL'S 100% (15-0 ATS) NBA BLOWOUT WINNER. $35.00
Al McMordie CASHED his 5* Game of the Month on Golden State last night (the line ranged from +4 to +3, so most folks won, while an unlucky few pushed), and has ANOTHER GREAT PLAY tonight out of a 100 PERCENT PERFECT (15-0 ATS) SYSTEM. The 16TH WINNER IN A ROW is RIGHT HERE. Get the Winner + the 100% System right now!

Game did open at 3.5. I bet it myself at Pinnacle. But most of the day it was no higher then 3 at most outs. So he was half right.

Not that I like the guy but in the interest of fairness I had written in my schedule book Houston opened at -2- and there was a window of time where they were -3- (my last entry)

The trouble with a guy like Al is the constant hype and calling this a blow-out winner..I wonder how many people saw this as a blowout..also the 15-0 NBA ATS blowout streak.

It is unforunate that people buy into this hype but a lot of people are very gullible.

It is analogous to our country being led by a man that is still pushing the merits of the MDS..better known as "Star Wars" a system that I and most other scientists know will fail....yet the country buys it..people want to be led. It takes mental energy and effort to have a good/ well thought out opinion of anything regardless of whether it is a ball game or a insane Missile Defense System. For a lot of people, thinking is not a process they are willing to pursue..it is much easier to have someone tell us this is the way to go!

As Napoleon once stated "for a few baubles, men are easily led"

You've got to read what is really there. He did not call the GS cover a blowout winner. The blowout winner he is talking about is the promo for the upcoming game he wants you to buy.

I got the game at GS +3.5 and saw it later in the day at 3. Never any less. Anyway it was a lucky 1/2 point cover but a win is a win.

Big Al is one of the best at selling plays. He claims a million titles. Its hard to find a gambling site that he's not part of. Don Best, vegas experts, you name it, he's there. But he's certainly not the lowpoint of the tout business. He does go on some incredible winning streaks and i certainly would not make a practice of fading him everyday. Do not put him in the class of Price and Stiener. Big Al doesn't have a boiler room operation and doesn't give out opposing plays and claim 75-80% winning seasons. Call his number and he'll answer the phone. What Big Al does and perhaps better than anyone is promote himself. He just gets carried away with the hype.

He is NOT the scum of the earth, but a pretentious, cocky, BAD handicapper. Stilwell, every day he has a "Game of the Yr, Game of the Month", Blowout, etc... For example, his G.S. game was a Game of the Month play. Giving him the benefit of the doubt if he wants to call it a winner (although it wasn't), does winning by a .5 pt as a result of "end game" going his way merit a celebration. If something is "a game of the month or year" shouldn't the result never be in question. His team was down by close to 20 and was lucky enough to come back. Was that part of his GAME OF THE MONTH handipping.

The REAL REASON he is a JOKE & A SCAM however, is the following. Let's use last night's game as an example: The fact he lost is irrelevant to my point. But here is what his clients purchased: Nothing more than #'s spit out of a $10,000 computer program. Nothing to do with player matchups, styles of play, injuries, home court, intangible, coaching, etc..... Just complete meaningless stats and trends that he convinces people to think they matter. Where is the skill in this type of handicapping. And your statement that he goes on long winning streak is NOT only FALSE but if so, complete luck, as picking winners in this matter is no different than flippin a coin:

Game: Miami (FL) at South Carolina Mar 15 2005 7:30PM
Prediction: South Carolina
Grade: Loser (-110)
Reason: At 7:30 pm, our selection is on the South Carolina Gamecocks, as we will fade Miami Fla, who falls into a negative 1-16 ATS situation. What we want to do is play AGAINST any NIT Tourney team that's off ...[systems and analysis have been deleted from this results page as that valuable information only goes to clients who purchase selections on a pay-after-you-win basis].... . The Hurricanes have dropped their last 3 games to Georgia Tech (76-72), Duke (83-59) and Virginia (66-65) and failed to cover each game. Look for the Gamecocks to blow them out in Columbia, SC. Take South Carolina. Good luck, as always...Al McMordie. And don't miss my Blowout Winner in the NBA Tonight out of a 100% perfect (15-0 ATS) system.

Even worse, here is today's promo. In reading this, you would think he might know something important that you don't. What do 60-6 ATS trends have anything to do with tonight's games. This is not science we are dealing with here. More IMPORTANTLY, is there any mention that he has lost TWO STRAIGHT NIGHTS and is 0-2 in the NIT or was 1-5 on Championship Sunday?
The guy is no better than a thief or manipulator that steals money from people over the phone. He is abusing NAIEVE, gullible people.

I was just reading this archived post and I want to respond to it. I wholeheartedly disagree with your statements. Too many people here are hung up on this handicapping skill issue. If you are involved in gambling just to see who is the most skilled handicapper then you are missing the boat.

Who the hell cares about handicapping. I care about winning money. If someone can win with trends, angles and systems well good for them. I'd rather be known as a winner than a good handicapper.

I'm not saying Big Al is either one of the above. The man is selling plays. Why would he tell anyone he just went 0-2 or 1-5. You accentuate the positive.

If Ford is trying to sell trucks they don't print a huge ad telling you all about yesterday's recall for defective transmissions. They tell you about the magnificent payload. Al tells you about something positive he did.

I don't believe Al is stealing from naieve and gullible people. Jack Price does that. Al promotes in a way that I don't agree with but I don't call it stealing. Let the buyer beware, however. I have purchased plays from Big Al on a few occasions and talked with him on the phone for quite awhile once. He doesn't have a staff of creeps that call you on the phone and he doesn't try to get you to buy the phony package that only the high rollers get. He can't be as bad as you think if he won the Stardust Handicapping Championship. Unless of course he used someone elses picks. But so what, they wee winning plays.
