Although I believe that Graner is absolutely a fallguy, abusing prisoners is not the answer. I surely don't believe that these soldiers brought the handcuffs, hoods and night sticks with them to Iraq. Someone above them in rank gave those implements to them. Do you also think they also deserve promotions? Regardless, what would you have to say if it was our prisoners rolling around nude and in various poses. Would it be abuse if they were doing it? We are doing future American prisioners of war a huge injustice if we condone what was happening there. You don't have to be a liberal or concervative to realize that. You seem to be full of hate for whoever dares to disagree with your viewpoints. I don't know whether or not beating confessions out of anyone really gets truthful answers anyway. I believe Graner should have been promoted because I personally believe he saved American soldiers lives. stripping a prisoner nude and having panties put on his head has to be the lightest torture in the history of war. I'm willing to bet no one in history has ever served 10 years for stripping a prisoner and putting panties on his head. It's plain silly and it sucks for our guys in the field. I once was in the Army and I can tell you right now that Granger will have the best time a soldier can have in the brig. He is a hero to all the gooroos in the service and will get his rewards from the U.S. government. He is in deed the fallguy and the gov. will compensate for this. He was doing nothing but following orders, wrong place wrong time. Pics and cameras just shows how ignorant we "the U.S. people" yes all of us are.
