I saw Foreman backpedal like a madman when they asked if his opinion of the Mosley fight, that it was a horrible decision, still stood - and he totally ignored answering that question, because he knew they were interviewing Mosley last night live, before this fight.
I'm still trying to figure out why I even wasted my time watching the first round - I quickly put in a DVD and forgot about it - until I saw this topic. I am absolutely convinced of 3 things in the fight game:
1 - that a number of bouts are fixed, and if they're not, they may as well have been because otherwise the judges are blind as stumps
2 - that the Don Kings of the fight world run it, and why in hell would I EVER pay for a PPV or worry about which of their hand-picked, record-manipulated, soon-to-be-fleeced-of-everything-they've-ever-earned fighters, knowing where the money's going?
3 - that the only reason you ever see a lot of these fighters is because the Don Kings have padded their records with bouts against children, lame women and has-beens - 20-1 sounds impressive until you life the lid on the garbage can and see the maggots
p.s. By the way, how many times does HBO get to criticize the shit out of the decisions and STILL expect people to watch the fights on HBO???
