weather resembles the rainy season in the far east here, except it's unseasonably cold as well. i don't have the late scratches, although it's safe to say there's no turf racing and a bunch of entrants are likely to be withdrawn.
that said, there are a couple of plays that intrigue.
r4: bull moose. this one came out of the clouds in the 40k starter inhi last. second place finisher in that heat, anthony eats devoured a field here yesterday, so i like for this baltas trainee to run better second off the shelf. executive choice wil be favored, and rightfully so, but i like trying to beat a horse like him stepping up in class after going all out to beat lesser.
r8: greeley's galaxy. bet this one in his debut run and didn't get my money's worth as the first timer clearly didn't enjoy his time at the rain in a full field. he shuffled himself back, steadied and lost all chance. no matter, 'twas a good educational run and i expect a much different result drawn from the outside this time.
r10: truffle honey. lobo never wins first out, so play this one accordingly (i.e., small play only), but this field is nothing short of miserable and lobo is one of my favorite trainers on the circuit. he rarely gets horses with win early breeding like this one and this filly doesn't have to be much to clunk up and win this one at a decent price.
good luck
