Were there any BAD BEATS in COLLEGE TODAY?

Would appreciate it if you could list any games you considered "bad beats" today

I had over 58.5 (opened at 58) in the Syracuse game. Final total : 58

Through 3 quarters : 55 Points
4th quarter : 3 points

Marshall - Kent State gets a 97 yard TD pass with 3 minutes to go when they are down by 22 - meaningless other than to kill my bet.

 

2 first half bad beats that I know of:

If you had Rutgers +9.5 first half WV gets an 87 yard TD pass with 2 seconds left in the first half to cover the line 17-7.

If you had Tenn +0.5 first half they were going in for a TD on the 2 yard line and fumbled the exchange UGA picks it up and runs it 95 yards for a TD right at the end of the first half. Instead of 14-13 UT it's 20-7 UGA.


I was lucky to be on the RIGHT side of these two today...but if you were on the other side you had to go nuts.

I have Penn State +13.5, score is 20-14 and I have the ball. Still time left but I like my position as I am up 7.5 points with possession. Within seemingly seconds of thinking this Penn State fumbles. Purdue goes right down and scores a touchdown to make it 26-14. Then they go for 2 instead of just kicking the extra point. Of course they make it and win by 14 instead of 13.

Not a real bad beat unless your the guy with the Penn State +13 1/2 ticket.

Same boat McIrish - had psu +12.5 so that two pt conversion was big. The fact that they didn't kick the field goal was a kick in the gut as well

If Wisconsin holds on Kansas will have cost me the final leg of a 7 team ML Parlay that would have paid over 800 to 1

they blew an 11 pt. halftime lead and missed a PAT in regulation, they ended up losing in OT,

 

Ahh I forgot about my wonderful Alma Mater McIrish! I had the team total OVER 16.5 today and when they scored 14 in the first half I figured it was gold. A big fat goose egg in the 2nd half!

I should know better than to ever put money on them....ugh!

I had an old one from college hoops that changed my life it bothered me so many years. I have a dog that is +12.5 points and I am winning by 3 with the ball. I'm kicking myself for not having some of it on the money line. My guy throws it in, ball gets stolen and he fouls the guy on the lay up. Of course the guy makes it to complete the old fashioned 3 point play which sends it to overtime where my team loses by 13 points.

I was beating myself up for not bettng the money line and ended up losing the f*ing bet.

about 7 or 8 years ago i had a 12 1/2 pt dog (pac 10 school want to say ucla -- don't remember) the favorite scores a td on the last play of the game to put it into ot and my dog loses by 13 in ot (int runback)

bad beats - not suffered by me - but if you had these pplays - bad beats:

AZ/UCLA OVER 46/46.5: 21-17 AZ @ 1/2. az down 24-21 with about 4-5 minutes left - misses an under 30-yard fg that woulda tied the game and sent it OVER for the total

Miami -6 (2nd 1/2): fsu is winning 7-3 with 6 seconds left - ball inside the miami 20. on the last play of the game fsu gets a td - and the 2nd 1/2 cover.

The Rutgers 1st H loss was tough. I had them +10.5 for the 1st H & that last second td put them down 14 @ HT.

I also had the Canes on winning margins with their 15 pt lead giving me +1600 but that late td cost me & I only cash +1100.

oh, the 2nd half o/u of the hawwaii/fresno game comes to mind a fake punt by hawwaii with 4 minutes left in the game when there up by like 30 points.
