I'm reconsidering my write-in vote now.

This is one of the guys I respect the most though we differ in many ideological ways (a brilliant man):

Former Mass. GOP Gov. Weld Endorses Obama

Former Massachusetts Gov. William Weld, a Republican, is endorsing Democrat Barack Obama for president, citing the senator's steady leadership, good judgment and ability to unify Democrats, Republicans and independents.
"Senator Obama is a once-in-a-lifetime candidate who will transform our politics and restore America's standing in the world," Weld said in a statement released Friday. "We need a president who will lead based on our common values and Senator Obama demonstrates an ability to unite and inspire.

Can't agree with ya Cussy.

McCain has fought for America.

Obama is just playing at it, as far as Obama is concerned, it's a videogame.

How do you know it's a videogame for Obama? Just because someone hasn't served in the military then it's a videogame for them and they don't care?

Ludicrous.

And Obama got a nice college education, look how sleek and healthy he is, love that smile.

Whereas McCain got a bayonet in the ankle and groin, what does he know, he's just an old fool who knows nuthin'.

Eek, best load up the pooch and the mrs. and head for the Scottish Highlands mate. It is what it is.

Be kind and gentle to us while we follow in your footsteps.

Those gov't provided sheepskin slippers must feel real good. Hope I get me a pair soon :)

McCain did walk the walk, but he ain't doing it now.
Exhibit No. 1: His clusterfuck pick for VP....that's a significant gauge for the subsequent decisions we would see from him in the future.....and I ain't buying it.

Go catch some fish in Loch Ness would ya.

enough said.

Still luv ya, ya Commie

By that standard George H. Bush and Bob Dole should have won in landslides over Bill Clinton. And Admiral Stockdale should have at least served as VP.

Listen, I respect McCain's service and his love for country, but that doesn't mean that he would make a better President.

Sea fishing only for me from now on Cussy, too many rules and regulations for inland waterways with those Socialist eutopia governments over here.

Will ask you in 2016 if the right wing assholes or the left wing assholes were a better choice in 2008, if you're still aboot.

Good Lord, Eek

McCain didn't particularly "fight for America", though he did honorably serve in the military during the Vietnam era, spending most of his time in a POW camp. And within just a few years of his return stateside, he was dumping his wife for a young heiress and for the past 30 years has pretty much lived the life of Reilly....

Not that you or I might be caught doing same, but suffice to say his "walk" has mainly been just showing up to ride the US Senator ship....hardly a daunting task in late 20th century America.

Quick quiz...Name two Senate bills actually authored by John McCain in his 24 years which have been passed into law....And "McCain/Feingold" is your freebie

Senate bills of the past don't worry me.

Senate bills of the future are what the vote is about.

BTW
If Obama has ZERO senate bills too, that really does not worry me either...
Spooky. huh.
