i thought the fight was pretty good and getting interesting. anderson silva was so ready to unload, he just couldn't find an opening. did Cote just put up 3 fingers? karma bit him on the leg.

ya I thought the fight was shaping up fine... a bunch of dancing, but both fighters only need one strike to get the ball rolling. I think it would've ended with a bang, given Cote would have to press more as Round 5 neared.

Yeah we were robbed of a good ending...but Silva hit the kid with about 3 different shots that would have put the average fighter in the Twilight Zone. Cote has one hell of a chin. After getting hit with the first big shot he was actually positioning himself to land a big blow himself. Silva is just too quick..

I was there and there were a lot of very knowledgable fans but of course the LOUDEST fans were the complete drunk idiots that had no clue what was happening on the ground.
Overall, I was embarrassed to be part of that crowd.

To echo Brainiac, very impressed w/Kos' chin but I think Alves' takedown defense was highly underrated. So many people kept saying Kos will take him down with ease but Thiago ends up with the only takedown of the fight...lol

I hated/loved Koscheck, ever since the show. He is the greatest "heel" of the UFC, hands down.

Not too many people can handle the heel heat.
