Giants had the 6th rated DEFENSE and pitt was able to out score them in a close shoot out I think they found another way to win when there D goes south for a game ...Pitt D was horrid today for the most part....:drink:

Dante,
Hate to burst your bubble, but you guys were handed that game by bad officiating. Late hit on sack of Ben was called for "roughing" ... that crock of sh*t led to a TD, and the INT was questionabe.

Giants the better team on this day which leads me to believe the Steelers are a MIRAGE much like their in-state rival the Eagles. The officials gave the game to the Steelers

Perhaps Pitt is holding their aces for the playoffs. The way these coaches analyze tapes, a never before seen play strategy could be very advantageous... I am probably talking complete BS here, but I've always wondered.....................

ONE STINKIN CALL did not cost The Giants that game. Why do people always find a way to blame the refs for a team losing. Yes it was a bad call, but 3 plays later all the Giants had to do was stop Hayes on 3rd and long and they missed the tackle which resulted in 4th and 1 (which was a bad spot to begin with). Steelers convert the 4th down and then score the TD.

prior to the game they said that ELI changed the plays to ones he felt more comfortable with and were simpiler. it made the difference. cant give a rook too much to digest. Eli was very impressive to me, given that he is a rookie on a shoddy team.

he aint no ryan leaf if thats what anyone was thinking. give it up.

the giants were also able to run run run on pitt also. still, pitt just knows how to win. so i cant take anything away from them. theres a lot of crap the pats do that make you scratch your head, but they find a way to continually win also.

must be an AFC thing.

I watched this game very closely and wish good luck to Steeler fans but I don't give the team much chance to make it even as far as the AFC championship game. Baltimore getting points next week is a bargain. Their defense put Eli on the map today a guy who had a ZERO QB rating last week. At the risk of sounding like Lander, the zebras were the difference today. Colts for sure,San Diego, Bills (if they get there), Baltimore, and Denver will expose Big Ben. They most likely won't meet New England until the AFC championship game (if it somehow happens that way). The site won't matter, Pats will win easy.

I read your post -- it was stupid.
Saying that bad calls did not make a difference is idiotic.

Fish, Now I am buying lunch...I agree...Tonight will tell the tale of the Falcons. This is a one and done game for Carolina; I can't wait for Steelers and Falcons.

Big game tonight for both teams....it will be pandemonium in the house tonight, looking forward to it.

From what I saw today NE and Indy will roll Pittsburgh in Playoffs. Stats might say the Giants were 6th rated defense but alot of that was based on their earlier season peformance before alot of there players went down with injuries including Strahan. Like I said before I take Indy hands down in pittsburgh

Can't we ALL just get along?!!

Neither the Panthers or the Falcons scare me now. They both have looked terrible at times in this game.
