Week6 picks in addition to Miami

OK St was a favorite for me to open the season. They paid nicely vs texas and KSU. Now they are -8 vs Texas Tech. I see no reason to get off the horse. Teasing them down 7 and the over down 7 seems like easy money. I think straight up at -8 will pay too. Great coach a lot of fun to watch play too.

Auburn -2 I like also. Too much defense and a blossoming QB. Clearly had this game been at Auburn the number would have been -5 or -6. Again a very good, serious coach at AUB. He is a poor mans Kirby Smart.

I have always like Northwestern and the coach is a gem. After a few games into the season Fitzgerald has them on back on track as a tuogh nosed Big 10 team no one wants to play. NW is +8 vs Nebraska, I'd tease that up to NW+15 and make Nebraska work to cover that number. I'd bet tempted to tease the over up 7 points too. Nebraska is questionable.

No Aub tease, like it straight up, -2 might tease the Over up, could be defensive conservative type game.

I would say Virginia Tech could go 0-12 ATS this year, but they do play Georgia Tech. So 1-11.

As of today, VT is 130th in turnover differential out of 130 teams. As a believer in reversion to the mean They have to bottoming soon, perhaps after they are humiliated a few more times with the turnover chain this weekend it will be the bottom. Just like the Duke game expect VT to come out firing on all cylinders. But as the 2nd quarter wears on and fatigue sets in the wheels start coming off. By late in the 3rd Q, VT will be spent and the 30-40 yard gashes commence. If Miami can keep from the turnover bug themselves thay can simply out athlete VT, into the ground. Hanging 50+ on VT is not out of the question this weekend.

As for GT without a passing game Bud should be able to muster enough run stopping to hold GT to less then 20. Can Willis and the offence score 20 on GT? I am not so sure, GT has D1 players on Defense, My guess is they are very hungry for a win so VT will get their best effort.
