Week 8 GB and Indy

Getting off to an early start in looking at this new week. I see GB at -2.5 and Indy at -2 at pinny right now. Thinking about getting in on these soon...

The pack seem to have found a groove and although chicago beat GB early on (and the skins just beat chicago in wk 6) - I think the skins offense will have a tough time matching points with favre but I wanna look into it more before I pull the trigger.

Indy is a different story because their defense is always a concern - and they stumbled a little offensively vs jacksonville I think because harrison was playing injured... I'll check on this but at first glance it would seem a little low.

at any rate he plans to play but he hasnt practiced...

Favre apparently was injured early in the game - I didnt see it but I would love to hear from someone that did. When exactly did he get hurt?

do you still like the pack even with farve injured as well as the other injuries they have? I know WSH is bad.......but how bad?

I havent gotten in on GB yet but it appears as though he did pretty well after he hurt his hand early last week.

I think it may be a chance to get in on an over adjustment for him being injured.

Its at -2 now so a win is still slightly likely in the eyes of vegas.

Its a trap attempt but I dont think its gonna work on me. Still waiting however for more info on favre...

I like the Cincy pick. I'll wait until I hear if Mcnair is playing for sure or not...i might pull the trigger on the ML

I like GB as well. I think you are right about a trap attempt. With the point GB has put on the board the last two games I can't see them not beating a bad WSH team by at least a field goal.

Indy is tough. I've leaned towards KC, even though it's hard to ignore the success they have had at arrowhead in the past. I've picked KC in my work pool, however I think I will lay off this game this week. Good Luck Jaypaw!

forget the past - what does that have to do with it here

Priest could get 3000 yards but manning will likely throw for about 3000 as well.

The difference is that KC can't stop Edgerrin James. The colts had a brainfart last week against jacksonville as they got complacent and selfish tempers came to the surface. That should be enough to get these guys thinking about the team concept - and if they can play as a team they usually don't lose.

one more note on the KC indy game - Holmes will play and he practiced once this week so he's good to go right? and why not he rushed for what 200 yds vs indy last year?

WRONG the guy sprained his ankle last week and he WILL NOT rush for 200 yards and he WILL NOT have 4 TDs. Maybe he'll be a factor - maybe he'll even do well! but even if he is 100% technically - there is no way in gods great earth that he will be above his average on the season.

Just a thought. Maybe a stretch - so take it for what its worth but at least think about it...
