Fairly easy, first off disregard the odds that you get from your book. Then pick any 2 teams playing each other, ie Oak is 113 and SD is 117, subtract and you come up with 4. Look at "cover chart" below, SD 4 shows many "w". More wins you see in the chart then it's a play, vice versa with "L."

hes not using any lines in regards to what vegas sets...the only numbers you go off of here are the ones he lists above. so, no opening or closing lines are used...
