I've had some luck with college and NFL teasers....here is my teaser for this saturdya

or the beginnings of one anyways

Georgia -pk
Mich State -3
Florida -17
LSU -18.5
Auburn -0.5

i don't do 5 team teasers so one of those is coming out

just can't decide which one...I'm thinking the LSU or Mich state one

any thoughts?

To be honest, I think Michigan State is the only pick that is safe.

Georgia could very well get beat by Alabama. I know you're a Dawg fan, don't let that cloud your vision.

Ole Miss is not that bad. Historically, they play Florida close, especially in early morning games. Also, this is a huge look-ahead for Florida with LSU on deck.

LSU is my team, but this is yet again a look-ahead game with Florida on deck, not to mention a let down after the big win at Auburn Saturday night. The guys have to be beat up after that physical game Saturday night. I'd probably rank them #2 in this teaser, but I'd like to get it below -17.

Auburn is in a letdown spot after a hard fought and emotional loss against LSU. Their defense is great, but their offense leaves a lot to be desired. Tennessee is not as bad as the score against Florida indicated. They were actually able to move the ball pretty well and simply killed themselves with turnovers. This is a good spot for the underachieving Volunteers to get an outright upset win.

BOL with your picks though. Just my two cents playing devil's advocate. I think you can find some great games out there. Colorado +11.5 against FSU looks tasty to me, as well as Purdue +8.5.

Yeah i like your florida analysis and tennessee analysis

I might take a look at Purdie +8.5 and Colorado

thanks for the heads up

thats why i posted it to try to get some opinions

I do think georgia wins the game but not by 6 ...it will be a blackout and they wouldn't want to embarass themselves

If you dont think that Georgia can cover the 6, they sure as hell wont cover 12.

You would be teasing the wrong team (according to your own logic)

"Teasing favorites down is illogical." Spock<!-- / message -->

What he's saying is...
1) You don't believe Georgia covers the spread of 6, but believe they will win. That means you see Georgia winning by 1-5 points.
2) You can tease Alabama all the way up to +12, which is greater than the number you see Georgia winning by. It may be a better play.

How about Mich St -3, Cincinnati - 4.5, Duke -1, Miami (Fl) -1.5

In an NFL tease, you got to like the Bills.

TopDawg,
I was wrong in my analysis on the FLA and LSU games, as I forgot about the bye week for LSU following the Miss State game before FLA. FLA has Arkansas on 10/4/08, with LSU to follow on the 11th, so it's not necessarily a look-ahead. I still feel like this will be somewhat of a letdown for LSU this week against MSU though, and that Ole Miss historically playing FLA well makes me tread carefully, but I don't feel as strongly about them as I did earlier in the week.

BOL with your picks once again!
